About the event
We are looking for participants who are experienced skiers / snowboarders and are looking to commit to their growth in the backcountry. The purpose of the cohort is to create a strong sense of community amongst the group and foster relationships that last throughout and beyond this season. Cohort participants will move through three different courses throughout the season as a group:
- Intro to Backcountry
- Avalanche Safety Training (AST) level 1
- AST - 1 Booster (a one-day tour where we will go into more complex terrain and apply everything we learned in AST 1)
